One Love Ukraine is a project set up to share the stories of those affected by the War in Ukraine and provide them with direct on the ground support. And inspiring stories of the heroes trying to help those affected by the current events in Ukraine. As we travel there, we will also provide crucial on the ground support for those in most dire circumstances (transport, supplies, food, medicines, etc.) Thank you for your support.

🇺🇦 At the Ukraine/Poland Border one of the first stops for each refugee crossing the border is that ‘home-made’ clothing point - where they can pick up something warm for themselves and their families after their journey (escape).

The second stop - is a place where they can get something warm to eat & drink and pick up items for their basic needs (food, medical, hygiene, etc).

IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER: Still not much help from the government is visible here. All those necessities come from the donations from ordinary people from all over Poland and abroad.

So IF YOU SEE AN OFFICIAL COLLECTION POINT in your local store or area - please don’t hesitate to use it. This is what is reaching the refugees directly. Those are goods they will be greeted with to lift their strengths and spirits for their ‘new beginning’.

I visited a shelter for refugees who managed to escape & cross the border. I have spoken to some amazing people & heard some inspiring ..and heartbreaking stories. This is the place where they can get some rest, stay warm, feed their families…and most of all - where they finally feel safe.

It is located only 3km from the border itself. Their first safe stop. All of this (beds, food, blankets, volunteers, etc) organised by local people with big hearts. Unfortunately not much help from any official channels is present here. Only ordinary people trying to help others. 🇺🇦

“We have travelled on foot for the past 24 hours” 🇺🇦

I met this incredible family at the Ukraine-Poland border crossing Dołhobyczów-Uhrynów. They ran from their town which was bombed only the day before. Their whole life now in whatever they could carry on their back. On foot, pushing a baby stroller, cold and hungry.

Mother, Grandmother, Grandson. Three generations, victims of War.
