🚌 SCHOOL BUS DELAYS – AGAIN THIS MORNING 🚌

Unfortunately, we find ourselves having to apologise once again this morning for delays across our school bus services due to severe traffic congestion throughout Letterkenny.

Our buses are on the road and our drivers are doing everything possible to keep to schedule, but the level of congestion around the town is once again causing significant delays and a knock-on effect from one school run to the next.

We completely understand the frustration for parents and pupils waiting — we share that frustration. Unfortunately, no amount of forward planning on our part can account for buses sitting at a standstill in traffic.

We sincerely apologise to everyone affected and ask for your continued patience. Please be assured that our drivers are doing their very best to get every child to school safely and as quickly as traffic allows.

🚌 **SCHOOL BUS SERVICE UPDATE** 🚌

Unfortunately, we are once again dealing with severely congested traffic throughout Letterkenny this morning, which is having a major knock-on effect across all of our school bus services.

The current road planning, ongoing works and traffic management around the town have become an absolute nightmare, particularly during peak school and work times. What should be straightforward journeys are being met with significant congestion on a daily basis, making it increasingly difficult for our drivers to keep to scheduled times.

When one bus is delayed in traffic, it unfortunately has a knock-on effect on the runs that follow.

We apologise profusely to all parents, guardians and pupils affected. Our drivers are doing everything possible to get everyone to school as quickly and safely as they can, but unfortunately these traffic conditions are completely outside of our control..

We fully understand how frustrating the delays are — we are just as frustrated..
