Good day out at Sidepipes and Durabrites Truckshow yesterday in Claremorris in aid of Mayo Roscommon Hospice. Well done to Colm and team on putting together. We look forward to the next one already.

Thanks to Ray and the team at Porter Ford for sorting out our new Transit Custom and to Superior Signs for the wrap. Delighted with how it’s turned out.

A huge thank you to Stephen and Gareth Mullen from Sligo Haulage for choosing Europe’s best selling van, the Transit Custom, to add to their ever expanding fleet.

It is a pleasure to deal with such professionals and a flagship business for Sligo on the roads of Ireland and Europe.

We are recruiting for CE artic drivers.

Sligo Haulage requires a full time HGV Drivers due to continued expansion and increasing workload.

Applicants must have full CE licence, Digi Card and all CPCs up to date. Dublin port pass and DFT cards are preferable.

We have options for both local and National work. Role is a mixed curtainsider, container and Groupage work.

Some overnights required (CE) with overnight allowance.

Work is Monday to Friday with the occasional Sunday evening start.

Drivers must be over 23 for insurance.

Part time work also available.

Truck based in our main depot in Tubbercurry and returns to base most nights so would ideally suit someone within a commuting distance of the yard.

We operate one driver one vehicle policy for full time staff.

***Please note applications are only open to persons currently residing in Ireland and with valid work permit and PPS number. We do not assist with overseas applications or visas.***

Wont be too long and it will be time for the 4th Annual Square Sundays @ Sligo Haulage as part of the Tubbercurry Old Fair Day Festival

An idea over a normal square Sundays that has grown year on year to probably one of the largest cars and coffee events of the year it promises to be a great morning.

I mean where would you get a Lamborghini, a McLaren, Cosworth, M3s mix of old and new and of course the TCab in the one yard of a Sunday morning while strolling around enjoying coffee and chats. F91 RD21 Sunday 9th of August that’s where 👌🏻

Come and join Square Sundays and ourselves all part of Tubbercurry Old Fair Day Festival 2026

All plans in motion for 44 days time when we get together with out great neighbour's and hosts at Sligo Haulage & Distribution to meet for our annual big gathering in conjunctionwith .
Year on year this has grown to become a hugely popular meet up and we look forward to similar for this year.
