There are places in Israel where you don’t just read history—you literally walk through it.

Scythopolis, known today as Beit She’an, was one of the great cities of the Decapolis and the only Decapolis city located west of the Jordan River.

Walking its ancient streets, seeing the massive Roman theater, columns, bathhouses, and ruins gives you a glimpse into the Greco-Roman world that surrounded the ministry of Jesus.

And this place goes back even further. 1 Samuel 31 tells us that after Saul and his sons died on Mount Gilboa, their bodies were taken to the walls of Beth She’an.

Thousands of years later, the ruins are still here.

Situated on the Mount of Olives, the Church of the Pater Noster is traditionally associated with the place where Jesus taught His disciples the Lord’s Prayer — “Our Father.” One of its most beautiful features is the prayer displayed on tiled panels in more than 100 languages, reflecting a message of faith that reaches across cultures and nations. 🙌🏽

Did you know?

The Church of All Nations sits directly beside the Garden of Gethsemane at the foot of the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem.

The church commemorates the place traditionally associated with Jesus praying in agony before His arrest—a setting that brings the Gospel accounts to life in an entirely different way when you experience it in person.

Another incredible stop on our journey through the Holy Land.

This Sabbath, we pray for the God of Israel to protect and preserve the life of the People of Israel. The IRGC continues ignoring warnings and remains steady on its death march toward the abyss. SPOILER ALERT: Israel wins! 🇮🇱

We also pray for the precious and innocent people in/of Iran. God is merciful and gracious to protect them from the events to come. It is at no coincidence that these tensions and events are escalating near the feast of Purim.

Purim celebrates how God turned Haman’s plot of destruction into deliverance, using Queen Esther’s courage to save the Jewish people and transform sorrow into joy.

Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. Pray for Peace in the Middle East.

Shabbat Shalom! 🕊️

“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.” - Acts 2:42 ESV

The Body of Christ is beautifully diverse and uniquely assembled. We are united under one name, Yeshua.
