Spent today at the GCCI Gujarat Sustainability Summit 2026 at Soulinaire, Ahmedabad 🌿

Good to see sustainability being discussed beyond just awareness — covering topics like carbon markets, green finance, climate-tech startups, circular economy, sustainable infrastructure, supply chain decarbonization, and ESG implementation.

Interesting sessions by TERI, CEEW, i-Hub, CEPT, WRI India, IIMA, and industry leaders showed how sustainability is slowly becoming a serious business priority in India.

The climate-tech startup panel featuring companies like Oizom, Durogreen, AltMat, and Dropon was especially insightful.

As someone working in the sustainability and packaging sector, it genuinely felt encouraging to see Gujarat building a stronger ecosystem around climate-tech and sustainable business.

India still has a long way to go — but the direction is finally becoming serious.
