Plastic bottle waste is a growing environmental concern in public places, tourist attractions, offices, educational institutions and residential communities. Improper disposal of plastic bottles contributes to pollution, clogs drainage systems, and increases the burden on landfills.
Providing a separate bin for empty plastic bottles is a practical and sustainable solution for managing plastic waste. By encouraging proper disposal and recycling, this initiative can make a meaningful contribution to environmental conservation and promote a culture of responsible waste management.

Mr. Ravi M from Arjun Tours Bangalore with a vision of installing these Bottle bins in all major tourist attractions across Karnataka has kickstarted this mission at MTM (Mysore Travel Mart) 2026.
On 05 June which is celebrated as World Environment Day this great initiative was inaugurated in the august presence of the Union Tourism Minister Sri.Gajendra Singh Shekhawat , HH Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar MP Mysore & Kodagu Constituency and Mr. Pratap Simha Ex - MP in association with MTA (Mysuru Travels Association) and MTM (Mysore Travel Mart) with a vision and on a mission to install these Bottle Bins across all major tourist attractions in Mysore. Let’s preserve our culture and heritage and move towards a more sustainable future.

Thank you Mr. Manoj for the wonderful hospitality rendered during our stay at the Hyatt Malayatoor. A relaxed stay , yummy food , and the rain gods were very kind to us , with a few showers bringing down the temperature . Haytt Malayatoor has 88 rooms and the closest resort to Kochi airport . It’s a 30 mts drive. An awesome place for MICE and weddings . A stay at the Haytt before travelling to Munnar is recommended .
