After the latest order of 250 aircraft placed in 2014, Indigo Airlines will be getting delivery of a new aircraft every nine days till 2027.

IndiGo is conducting a written examination for the IndiGo Pilot Program (JFO) in association with CAE (CSTPL). The examination will be held simultaneously at three locations; Delhi, Mumbai & Bengaluru on 15th January 2017.


Entry Requirement:
· Indian National/Foreign Passport Holder with OCI Card.
· Current Indian DGCA issued CPL or higher license with Multi Engine Instrument Rating.
· Current Indian COP/RTR and FRTO Licenses . Valid Indian Class I medical certificate.
· Valid Passport.
· Fluency in English - both written and spoken.
· All licenses valid as on date of written test.
Age Requirement :
Minimum Age : 20 years
Maximum Age :35 years; Pilots with > 1000 hrs of flying time – Max Age 40 years

Flight Experience Required - Junior First Officers:
Minimum 25 hours ME time (no more than 10 hours on Multi engine SIM)

Selection Process:
* Written Tests
* Psychometric & Skill evaluation
* Group Activity & Personal Interview
* If selected, then an IndiGo Letter of Intent will be provided.
* After completion of the self-sponsored Type Rating training; candidates will undergo a Simulator Assessment. If found suitable they will be inducted as Jr. First Officer at IndiGo.

The applicants will have to apply on the link https://pilot.cae.com/Programs/Indigo.aspx to register themselves to write the examination. The registration is open effective today- 6th December, 2016.
