A low estimate suggests that 2,50,000 plastic bottles are brought to Spiti by tourists every year. There is no recycling here and bottles end up in the river or get burnt. This installation has been put up by Ecosphere to bring awareness regarding the problem and to encourage tourists to fill bottles from filters and hotel owners to provide filtered water.

Royal India Bikes LLP is a Motorcycle Tours & Rental service and we are looking to hire a Fleet Manager who is young, bright, passionate & a level headed traveler with a flair for adventure, motorbiking and at the same possess basic managerial & administrative skills to manage & liase with 3rd party vendors. I have to put on record here the excellent services provided to me by Royal Enfield India & Royal Enfield Nepal, ( Butwal ) by going out of their way, beyond office hours in salvaging a regretful and unfortunate material failure. It was a display of proactiveness and a very high level customer centric response & attitude which is an asset that RE has through its employees who never stop to surprise you. I had two himalayans being ridden by experienced Australian riders from Leh to Nepal and the incident happened at Kapilvastu. Royal Enfield Nepal were quick to dispatch their technician to bring the bike to the workshop where the India and Nepal team got together to have the necessary repairs & replacement done. Thank you Pradeep Sharma, Jagpal Singh, Pankaj Gupta ( Butwal ) and Mr Virat RSM Uttrakhand & Nepal for your intervention. Well done !! and keep up the good work !! cc Dipesh Shrestha Casper
