Expectation: cute artsy morning, great coffee, great food
Reality: coffee understood the assignment, food absolutely did not.
After a wholesome stroll through Lodhi Art District, we walked into Altogether Experimental with big hopes and even bigger hunger. The salted caramel cappuccino and strawberry smoothie showed up like overachievers—balanced, not too sweet, and exactly what we needed. No complaints, no notes.
And then came the food… which clearly missed the team meeting. The truffle mushroom croissant had no truffle personality and the texture was more soft-and-sad than flaky-and-fabulous. The cajun chicken sandwich forgot it was supposed to be cajun and just served neutral energy instead.
Moral of the story: come for the coffee, stay for the vibes, but maybe eat before you come.

I stood in line so you don’t have to wonder—is the viral benne dosa actually worth the hype?

9 AM on a weekday morning and we were still looking at a 30-minute wait… so yeah, the hype is very real. But once you’re inside, things are surprisingly smooth.
You order at a kiosk, pay, get assigned a random (and honestly pretty funny) name, and just wait for it to pop up on the screen with your order and pickup counter. Efficient, quick, no chaos.

We started with the ghee podi thatte idli and WOW… instant winner. Super soft, fluffy idlis loaded with that spicy podi mix, coconut chutney on the side and a hit of tomato chutney—absolute perfection.

Then came the iconic benne dosas—masala and podi masala dosa, loaded with a generous dollop of butter. Perfectly crisp on the outside, yet somehow soft and fluffy inside. The aloo masala and chutneys complemented everything beautifully, but what truly stood out was the tomato chutney and that podi masala— that was some serious next level stuff.
No sambar here, but trust me—you won’t even miss it.

We wrapped it up with filter coffee and Mysore pak. Both were nice, but compared to the rest of the meal, they didn’t really steal the show.

Final verdict? Definitely worth at least one visit. The crowds have eased a bit after the initial craze, so this might actually be the perfect time to go. You’ll probably still have to wait, but once you're in, everything moves so quickly that before you know it—you’re out, full, happy, and already thinking about that tomato chutney again.

Because FOMO is real and when everyone keeps talking about a place, you eventually have to go see what the hype is about.
So we landed up at Firenze Gelateria .gelateria on a weekday night thinking the crowd would be manageable. That plan failed immediately. The line was already long but the staff did something thoughtful and served everyone hot chocolate while waiting, which definitely made the queue easier.
After about 30 minutes we finally made it inside. Because of the rush they had stopped offering tastings that day so I went with my safest and most reliable flavour, pistachio.
And it absolutely delivered.
The gelato was incredibly creamy with a rich, deep pistachio flavour that reminded me instantly of the gelato I had in Italy. Smooth texture, balanced sweetness and that proper nutty taste that pistachio gelato should have.
Now I understand why this place is always packed.
That said, it is slightly on the expensive side. Surprisingly, the price here felt higher than what I paid for gelato in Italy. Also, skip the cone and get the gelato in a cup. The cup just works better with the texture and you get the full experience without the cone overpowering the flavour.
Would I stand in line again for this? Absolutely.

The most beautiful spot to catch the sunset in Florence is definitely at Piazzale Michelangelo.

Perched high above the city, it offers a sweeping view of Florence’s skyline — with the iconic Duomo glowing golden, the Arno reflecting soft hues of pink and orange, and the entire city slowly lighting up as day turns to night. It’s truly magical.

It does get quite crowded, especially during peak season, so try to reach a little early to secure a good spot. Grab a seat along the steps or the railing, settle in, and soak in the most beautiful view.

And don’t forget to carry some drinks — it makes the whole experience even better as you watch the sun dip behind the Tuscan hills.

Delhi has no shortage of kebabs… but every now and then you find a place that resets your benchmark.
Aap Ki Khatir in SDA isn’t a restaurant experience — it’s a Delhi food ritual. Tiny outlet, makeshift setup, cars parked outside, people waiting, and trays of kakori kebabs disappearing faster than they’re made.
The magic is in the balance.
No aggressive spices. No oily heaviness. Just incredibly smooth, melt-in-the-mouth kakori with that classic Lucknowi fragrance.
Pair it with their crispy shahi paratha and you’ll understand why regulars don’t even ask for a plate — they assemble rolls standing outside or sitting in their car.
This isn’t hyped food. This is “come back again tomorrow” food.
If you call yourself a kebab lover and haven’t been here yet… you’re missing one of Delhi’s essential eats.
Save this for your next food run.

Another awardee. Another plate of butter chicken. Another opinion. 👀
Chicken Inn understood the assignment — especially the garlic naan 🤌
Is it THE best? Jury’s still out.
Stick around for the final verdict 🍛🔥
