From April 1, all vehicles owned by central & state governments, including buses owned by transport corporations and public sector undertakings, that are older than 15 years will be de-registered & scrapped, according to a notification by the Road Transport and Highways Ministry.
This rule shall NOT apply to the special purpose vehicles (armoured and other specialised vehicles) used for operational purposes for the defence of the country and for the maintenance of law and order and internal security, the notification said.

PM Modi inaugurated the Terminal 2 of Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru. Built at a cost of ₹ 5,000 crores, it will double the passenger handling capacity of the airport to 5-6 crore passengers per annum. 🤩✈️

Passengers will travel through 10,000+ sq m of green walls, hanging gardens and outdoor gardens and these gardens have been made using indigenous technology. The passenger experience is meant to be a “walk in the garden”.
