As part of our humble contribution towards providing healthcare support to the flood-affected people of Chumoni Gaon and its adjoining areas, we organised a Health Relief Camp at Chumoni Gaon on 16th August 2026. The sole purpose of this initiative was to provide free health check up and medicines to the flood affected people.
At this juncture, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Smt. Panchami Choudhary, Joint Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Assam; Dr. Dhaneswar Deori, Joint Director of Health Services, Sonari Urban, Dr. Amiya Saikia ( Dpt. Superintendent of Lakuwa Model hospital), Dr. Shahid Ahmed, (MO MMU, Charaideo); Dr. N. Gouridas Singha; Sri Mayur Sinha; and the entire team of nursing staff and other healthcare personnel deputed by the District Health Department, Charaideo, for their invaluable support, dedication and cooperation. Last but not the least Sri. Dipankar Buragohain (President, Happy Riders MC) Smti. Monroe Phukan, for their indepth knowledge in providing vital information in regard to locating the least fortunate ones who are yet to receive any relief related materials or financial assistance.
Their commitment and tireless efforts played a vital role in making the Health Relief Camp at Chumoni Gaon a great success and in bringing much needed medical care and assistance to the affected communities.
Along with the medical camp, we also took an initiative to distribute necessary relief materials like mosquito nets, bedsheets, pillow covers, phenyl, bleaching power packets etc in and around Dolbagan , Chumoni Gaon, Suladhora Khanikar Gaon. (Thanks to all our club members who gave it their all to make this a success)
