Between Nov 21 and Dec 9 a total of 12.5 lakh air tickets were cancelled and for these refunds amounting to Rs 1100 crore has been released

Interesting that neither IndiGo, nor the govt talking of compensations- passengers are entitled to a measly compensation of Rs 10k for the hardship caused to them for cancelled flights- when flight duration was of 2 hours+ , which too no one mentions. Missing/ delayed and damaged bags invite compensation of Rs 20,000.

And most passengers won’t even know because the govt doesn’t create awareness. In contrast look at the websites of aviation regulators overseas.
