আজ ২৩শে জানুয়ারি। ভারতের স্বাধীনতা সংগ্রামের মহানায়ক, আজাদ হিন্দ ফৌজের প্রতিষ্ঠাতা এবং প্রতিটি ভারতবাসীর হৃদস্পন্দন নেতাজি সুভাষচন্দ্র বসুর ১২৯তম জন্মজয়ন্তী। এই বিশেষ দিনটি সারা দেশে 'পরাক্রম দিবস' হিসেবে পালিত হচ্ছে।

Swami Vivekananda Jayanti
Today, January 12th, marks the auspicious birth anniversary of the great visionary, brave ascetic, and inspiration to youth, Swami Vivekananda. This day is celebrated across the nation as National Youth Day.

🌍 Vivekananda, the Global Wanderer (Parivrajak)
Swami-ji was not limited to traveling only within India. He traveled to the United States, England, and many parts of Europe, notably to participate in the Parliament of the World's Religions in Chicago in 1893. He realized the immense importance of knowing the world and presenting one's own country on the global stage.

As a traveler, he showed that the true identity of a nation lies in its spirituality, culture, and its people. His extensive travels inspire our tourism industry to reach new heights.

আজ ১২ই জানুয়ারি সেই বীর সন্ন্যাসী ও শ্রেষ্ঠ 'পরিব্রাজক' স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ-এর শুভ জন্মতিথি। তাঁর জন্মদিবসটি সারাদেশে জাতীয় যুব দিবস হিসেবে পালিত হয়

🌍 বিশ্ব-পরিব্রাজক বিবেকানন্দ
স্বামীজি শুধু ভারত ভ্রমণেই সীমাবদ্ধ ছিলেন না।
তিনি ১৮৯৩ সালে শিকাগোর ধর্ম মহাসভায় যোগ দিতে গিয়ে আমেরিকা, ইংল্যান্ড এবং ইউরোপের বহু দেশ ভ্রমণ করেন। তিনি উপলব্ধি করেন—বিশ্বকে জানা এবং নিজের দেশকে বিশ্বের দরবারে তুলে ধরা কতটা জরুরি।

একজন ভ্রমণকারী হিসেবে তিনি দেখিয়েছিলেন, দেশের প্রকৃত পরিচয় তার আধ্যাত্মিকতা, সংস্কৃতি, এবং মানুষের মধ্যেই নিহিত। তাঁর এই বিশাল পরিভ্রমণ আমাদের পর্যটন শিল্পকে এক নতুন উচ্চতায় নিয়ে যাওয়ার অনুপ্রেরণা যোগায়।

সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি: পর্যটন ব্যবসার মাধ্যমে স্থানীয় অর্থনীতিকে শক্তিশালী করতে এবং পরিবেশ সুরক্ষার জন্য সকলকে সচেতন করা।

বিশ্ব সংযোগ: ভারতের বৈচিত্র্যময় সংস্কৃতি ও সৌন্দর্যকে বিশ্ব মঞ্চে তুলে ধরে আন্তর্জাতিক পর্যটকদের আকৃষ্ট করা।

ঐক্য ও সহযোগিতা: EIHTAA পরিবারের মধ্যে সংহতি বজায় রেখে একসাথে এগিয়ে চলা এবং প্রতিটি সদস্যের উন্নয়নে সহায়তা করা।

মানবতার হাত বাড়াই, উত্তরবঙ্গকে আবার বাঁচাই! EIHTAA-এর পক্ষ থেকে জরুরি সাহায্য বার্তা।

উত্তরবঙ্গের দুর্গতদের পাশে দাঁড়াতে EIHTAA-এর মানবিক আবেদন।

প্রিয় সদস্যবৃন্দ, ভ্রমন প্রেমী বন্ধু ও সকল শুভবুদ্ধিসম্পন্ন মানুষ,

উত্তরবঙ্গ আজ এক কঠিন পরীক্ষার সম্মুখীন। প্রকৃতির নির্মম রোষে এই অঞ্চলের বহু মানুষ তাঁদের ঘরবাড়ি, ফসল ও জীবিকার সবকিছু হারিয়েছেন। তাঁদের চোখে আজ শুধু বাঁচার আকুতি, আর পুনরায় দাঁড়াবার এক ক্ষীণ আশা।

এই কঠিন সময়ে ইস্টার্ন ইন্ডিয়া হোটেলিয়ার্স অ্যান্ড ট্র্যাভেল এজেন্টস অ্যাসোসিয়েশন (EIHTAA) ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত মানুষদের পাশে দাঁড়ানোর সংকল্প নিয়েছে। আমরা বিশ্বাস করি— আপনাদের সম্মিলিত ঐক্যের শক্তিই পারে অন্ধকারে আলোর জোগান দিতে।

🔴ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত শিশুদের শিক্ষার ব্যবস্থা করতে এবং পড়াশোনার সরঞ্জাম দিতে।

🔴জীবিকা হারানো মানুষদের এবং ক্ষুদ্র স্থানীয় ব্যবসায়ীদের নতুন করে কাজ শুরু করার জন্য মূলধন যোগান দিতে।

🔴বিপর্যয়ে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত পানীয় জল ও স্যানিটেশন ব্যবস্থার দ্রুত পুনরুদ্ধার নিশ্চিত করতে।

🔴পুনর্গঠন ও পরিচ্ছন্নতা অভিযানে স্থানীয় শ্রমিকদের সহায়তা প্রদান করতে।

উত্তরবঙ্গ ফিরছে চেনা ছন্দে , পর্যটন এখন স্বাভাবিক ও সচল!

প্রকৃতির আকস্মিক বিপর্যয়ের ধাক্কা কাটিয়ে আমাদের প্রিয় উত্তরবঙ্গ এখন ধীরে ধীরে তার স্বাভাবিক ছন্দে ফিরছে। স্থানীয় প্রশাসন ও পর্যটন সমাজের সম্মিলিত প্রচেষ্টায় আমরা আনন্দের সাথে জানাচ্ছি— উত্তরবঙ্গের পর্যটন এখন স্বাভাবিক ও সচল হওয়ার পথে।

'বিশ্ব গন্ডার দিবস' 🦏।
২০১০ সালে WWF-আফ্রিকা কর্তৃক শুরু হওয়া এই দিনটি গন্ডার সংরক্ষণের প্রয়োজনীয়তা সম্পর্কে বিশ্বব্যাপী সচেতনতা বাড়াতে এক শক্তিশালী মঞ্চ তৈরি করেছে। এই দিনটি আমাদের মনে করিয়ে দেয় যে, গন্ডার শুধু একটি প্রাণী নয়, বরং আমাদের বাস্তুতন্ত্রের ভারসাম্য রক্ষার জন্য অপরিহার্য।

#গন্ডারের প্রজাতি ও ভারতে তাদের অবস্থান

বিশ্বে গন্ডারের মোট পাঁচটি প্রজাতি রয়েছে।

এর মধ্যে দুটি প্রজাতি আফ্রিকায় (সাদা গন্ডার ও কালো গন্ডার) এবং তিনটি প্রজাতি এশিয়ায় (এশিয়ান একশৃঙ্গ গন্ডার, সুমাত্রান গন্ডার ও জাভান গন্ডার) পাওয়া যায়।

♦️এশিয়ান একশৃঙ্গ গন্ডার (Greater One-Horned Rhinoceros):
এই প্রজাতিটিই ভারতে প্রধানত দেখা যায়। এদের শরীরে বর্মের মতো ভাঁজযুক্ত চামড়া থাকে। ভারতে এদের সবচেয়ে বড় আশ্রয়স্থল হলো আসামের *কাজিরাঙ্গা ন্যাশনাল পার্ক*, এছাড়া পশ্চিমবঙ্গের *জলদাপাড়া ও গোরুমারা ন্যাশনাল পার্ক* এও এই প্রজাতির গন্ডার দেখতে পাওয়া যায়।

❓সংরক্ষণ কেন জরুরি?

তাদের অস্তিত্বের ওপর সবচেয়ে বড় হুমকি হলো চোরাশিকার। শুধুমাত্র কুসংস্কার ও লোভের কারণে তাদের অমূল্য শিংয়ের জন্য এই প্রাণীগুলোকে নির্মমভাবে হত্যা করা হয়। এই শিংয়ের কোনো প্রমাণিত ঔষধি গুণ না থাকা সত্ত্বেও, এটি অবৈধ বন্যপ্রাণী ব্যবসার একটি বড় অংশ।

বিশেষ করে ভারতের জন্য গন্ডার একটি গর্বের বিষয়। আসামের কাজিরাঙ্গা ন্যাশনাল পার্কের সফল সংরক্ষণ প্রচেষ্টার কারণেই একশৃঙ্গ গন্ডারের সংখ্যা আজ অনেকটাই বেড়েছে।

World Rhino Day: Let's Unite to Protect This Majestic Animal 🦏

Today, 22nd September, "World Rhino Day" is being celebrated across the globe.
This day, started by -South Africa in 2010, has created a powerful platform to raise global awareness about the urgent need for rhino conservation. It reminds us that rhinos are not just animals, but are essential for maintaining the balance of our ecosystem.

*Rhino Species and Their Locations in India*

There are a total of *five rhino species* in the world. Two of these are found in Africa (the White Rhinoceros and the Black Rhinoceros), and three are found in Asia (the Greater One-Horned Rhinoceros, the Sumatran Rhinoceros, and the Javan Rhinoceros).

♦️Greater One-Horned Rhinoceros:
This is the species primarily found in India. They have armor-like folded skin on their bodies. In India, their largest sanctuary is **Kaziranga National Park** in Assam, and this species can also be found in West Bengal's **Jaldapara and Gorumara National Parks**.

❓Why Is Conservation Essential?**

The greatest threat to their existence is poaching. These animals are brutally killed for their precious horns, driven by superstition and greed. Despite having no proven medicinal value, rhino horns are a major part of the illegal wildlife trade.

For India, in particular, the rhino is a matter of great pride. Thanks to the successful conservation efforts at Kaziranga National Park in Assam, the number of one-horned rhinos has increased significantly.
