New Tea Company was established in 1936 and has been growing ever since in the Tea Industry. Our company was headquartered at Calcutta and is a registered in all auction centers in India. The export department exports tea to over 20 countries in excess of 20 million kgs annually. While the domestic department sells lose and packet tea around the country. The domestic department has 6 offices and d
epots in India - at Indore, Nagpur, Mumbai, Jaipur, Amritsar and Ahmedabad. Maharaja is the flagship brand of the company and is sold throughout the country through our own depots and through the dealer network. The brand is known for its quality and flavor throughout the nation. The brand is well accepted in the defense department also with the army buying a large quantity for its consumption and distribution. Maharaja is available in packing’s of 25 gms, 50 gms, 100 gms, 250 gms, 500gms, 1 kg, 2 kgs and 5 kg packing. Our company possesses eight tea gardens with an annual produce of about 15000 tons. Every year production levels go up to meet the great demand for our teas, which we get from our valued customers. The difference in soils and climatic conditions can mean all the difference between the flavors of different teas even if it is from the same garden. But we in New Tea Company can proudly say that we have managed to maintain the same level of quality and flavor year after year. Our eight tea gardens are - Atal, Matidhar, Bijalimoni, Chandan, North Dinajpur, Balason, Thanjhora, Rheabari. Our development project tea gardens are - Phansidewa, Matikunda and Teen Bigha.
