Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation Limited a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh entrusted to build and operate the Lucknow Metro. Lucknow Metro is a rapid transit system serving the city of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.[7][8] The commencement of civil works started on 27 September 2014. The project was inaugurated by Minister of Home Affairs (India) Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath on 5th September 2017
