सच हुआ लखनऊ का सपना, बदल गई यूपी की तस्वीर..
यूपी के लिए साल 2016 छवि बदलने वाला रहा। प्रदेश ने इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर के क्षेत्र में कई उपलब्धियां हासिल की। अगर सिर्फ लखनऊ की ही बात करें तो लखनऊ वालों का मेट्रो से सफर करने का सपना जल्द ही साकार होने वाला है।
एक दिसंबर को लखनऊ मेट्रो का ट्रॉयल रन सफलता पूर्वक किया गया। लखनऊ मेट्रो रेल कार्पोरेशन का कहना है कि 26 मार्च से मेट्रो कॉमर्शियल रन के लिए तैयार हो जाएगी। पहला कॉमर्शियल रन नार्थ-साउथ कॉरिडोर के 8.5 किमी लंबे प्राथमिक संक्‍शन यानी ट्रांसपोर्ट नगर से चारबाग मेट्रो स्टेशन पर होगा।

लखनऊ में बुधवार को मेट्रो का दोबारा ट्रायल किया गया। इस दौरान मेट्रो का ब्रेकिंग व मोटर सिस्टम चेक किया गया।
इस दौरान ट्रांसपोर्ट नगर से मवैया तक का सफर मेट्रो ने 25 किमी प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से तय किया।
सुबह करीब 10:30 बजे ट्रेन को ट्रांसपोर्टनगर डिपो से रैंप के जरिए बाहर निकाला गया।
ट्रेन को डिपो से निकालकर ट्रांसपोर्टनगर स्टेशन पर खड़ा कर लिया गया। करीब 11 बजे ट्रेन का ट्रायल शुरू किया गया।
यहां से ट्रेन मवैया के लिए रवाना हुई। 11:40 बजे यह ट्रेन मवैया स्टेशन पर पहुंचीं। यहां से ट्रेन को वापस टीपी नगर ले आए। 12:40 बजे ट्रेन डिपो के अंदर पहुंच चुकी थी।

Lucknow Metro holds third AGM, chairman asks team to plan for feeder service...
LUCKNOW: Managing Director of Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation (LMRC), Kumar Keshav visited the underground metro stretch from Charbagh to Hazratganj and reviewed the progress of the on-going civil construction activities for 3.5 km long stretch connecting Hussainganj, Sachivalaya and Hazratganj including Charbagh ramp.
The stretch extends from Charbagh through an underground ramp and then rises above at KD Singh Babu Stadium. The construction started in second half of 2015 after doing a through survey of nearby buildings and its impact on surroundings, traffic study and soil testing for strength.
Starting his visit from Charbagh, Keshav oversaw the progress of the work going-on for the ramp and instructed the civil contractor GULERMAK and Tata Project Ltd (TPL) to expedite the work connecting the tunnel. After Charbagh, the MD visited the Hussainganj, Sachivalaya and Hazratganj metro construction sites and inspected all the work going on for underground stretch including the work of the diaphragm wall.
Keshav asked the contractor to complete all the work efficiently and in a time bound manner. This underground corridor comprising 3 stations is an integral part of 23 km long North-South corridor starting from Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport to Munshipulia, which is to be completed by 2019.
