Two trolley bags and one laptop bag were found in 12954 August Kranti Rajdhani Express on 04.08.2026.
The bags belonged to two passengers who had boarded the train at Hazrat Nizamuddin. Before departure, they stepped onto the platform to buy something. During that time, the train’s automatic doors locked, leaving them stranded on the platform while their luggage remained onboard.
Shortly afterwards, with the help of the railway staff, one of the passengers contacted the on duty Chief Ticket Inspector and informed him about the incident.
After coordinating with the passengers, all three bags were handed over to RPF escorting staff, Constable Shri Than Singh (MTJ Post), for safe custody and return to the bonafide passengers.
