The Golden Chariot, a luxury train promoted by Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC) and Jet Airways, have entered into a tie-up to jointly offer holiday packages 'Golden Jet Escapes', that provide visitors seamless travel to tourist destinations in Karnataka.

These holiday packages named 'Golden Jet Escapes', target domestic travelers from metro and other destinations, besides overseas cities like New York, New Jersey, Toronto, London and Brussels to board The Golden Chariot from Bengaluru.

Suspension of Flights to Jamshedpur # # # Mumbai, November 11, 2009 – Following a notification from Tata Steel Limited that they are converting the category of Jamshedpur Airport from 3C to 2C (which means that the runway length will be decreased from the present length and will result in a restriction on the maximum number of guests that can be carried on board our aircraft) and some changes in the approach parameters (which means revised conditions and visibility requirements), it will no longer be viable to continue to operate flights to Jamshedpur Airport given these newly imposed technical restrictions.

Jetlite flight's emergency landing at Kolkata airport # # # # A Jetlite flight from Koljata to Bangalore made an emergency landing about 30 minutes after take-off on Tuesday evening.

According to airport officials, the pilot suspected he had hit an animal on the runway while taking off. He sought an emergency landing as a precautionary measure

No animal body has been found. Some sources claim it was a bird hit.
