Sticon Papers: Adhesive distributors to manufacturers of Labelstocks and Adhesives

An agriculturist’s son Karan Reddy started as a trader of adhesives. Unstoppable, he acquired a unit manufacturing labelstocks, integrating backwards, started producing pressure adhesives, hotmelt adhesives expanding exponentially. Now operates out of 240,000 sq. ft. shop floor with 220 employees exporting 40-50%.

I am happy and indebted to Toyo Ink Company for having me as a part of their unique event ecovision FORUM by artience “Navigating the Future of Sustainable Packaging in India.” Normally companies hold events with customers in the audience, credit goes to Toyo for investing in this program themed “Empowering green growth through innovation,” organized on August 8, 2025, at Pullman Hotel, Aerocity, New Delhi. This program was restricted to just the packaging fraternity coming from leading FMCG brands. It surely was a program that intended to deliver the message of the imperative need for sustainability to be planned at the packaging development stage. It was interesting that the professionals from leading brands met to attend this knowledge delivering event and networking to exchange ideas taking the need for sustainability to another level.
Distinguished speakers - Sukhdev Singh Saini Dr. Madhab Chakraborty Bose Suryasarathi Julie Rice Suggs, JOSE NOVO Masaki Kanno Renji Reghu, Akshay Seth - shared their expertise, insights and vision for driving the next wave of sustainable innovations. I was given the responsibility of moderating two important panel discussions that were highly appreciated by all attending;
Panel 1 was themed “Beyond the Surface: Rethinking Design & Sustainability through Materials and Innovations” with panelists naveen stuart from Reckitt Vindhya Ayyagari Tata Consumer Products Yogesh Bambal Mondelez Nayandeep Banerjee Pernod Ricard Pavankumar Chougule Dr. Reddys
Panel 2 was themed “Closing the Loop: Supply Chain Strategy & Circular Thinking Across Industries” with panelists Varun Bajaj from Maruti Suzuki Faizur Rahman Colorbar cosmetics Biswajit Basu Nestle Tariq Husain Packult

Alliance Printech Pvt.Ltd. Faridabad is led by Jatinder Julka whose maiden startup venture for manufacturing of web offset machines for continuous computer stationery and business forms commenced in 2007. He faced numerous challenges initially. He launched his first flexo label press in 2012.
In a short span of 12 years, they state that they have sold over 125 presses with exports to 21 countries!
