Often one recognizes wisdom but sees a gap between wisdom and one's own life. The purpose of becoming a disciple is to bridge that gap. Being with the Guru means spontaneous integration of life and wisdom.

गुरु केवल ज्ञान और प्रेम है!

गुरु वह सिद्धांत है जो ज्ञान और प्रेम है और यह प्रत्येक उस व्यक्ति में जाग्रत होता है जिसने आध्यात्म के पथ पर कदम रखा है । तुम उन्हें भी गुरु कहते हो जिसके जीवन और ज्ञान व प्रेम में कोई दुरी नहीं है।

प्रायः हम ज्ञान को समझ तो लेते है परन्तु जीवन में उतार नहीं पाते। शिष्य बनने का उद्देश्य है इस दुरी को मिटाना।

गुरु के संग रहने का अर्थ है जीवन और ज्ञान का सहज समन्वय।
