The report from property consultancy JLL says India’s warehousing market expanded by 25% last year to 211 million sqft. The top three cities, Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru together account for more than 20 million sqft. Similarly, the leading cities of India including Kolkata, Chennai, and Pune continued to display strong growth in the logistics and warehousing market.
The booming 3PL and eCommerce sector need more warehouses for efficient transition and hence are joining hands with the key players in the current market. This further is attracting attention from investors and boosting liquidity infusion from international investors.
