Darjeeling & Kalimpong

Itinerary: Dajeeling 2 N Kalimpong 1N (3N4D)
Day 01: NJP/BAGDOGRA TO DARJEELING

Arrival at NJP/Bagdogra Airport. Meet our representatives and drive to Darjeeling. Upon arrival at Darjeeling, check into Hotel. Free & Leisure time / walk around town area and the Mall (Chowrasta). Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 02: DARJEELING SIGHTSEEING

Early morning(3 am) drive to Tiger Hill (8500 fts) for sunrise view over the mountains. View 4 Giants of Himalaya i.e. Mt.Everest,Mt.Makalu,Mt.Lhotse and Mt.Khangchendzonga (all above 8000 mtrs) from Tiger Hill. Drive back to Town. Visit Ghoom Monastery (Gelug order of Tibetan Buddhism) and Batasia Loop(Gorkha war memorial) Back to Hotel for Breakfast and recess (1 hr). After breakfast go for a mixed point sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Closed on Sunday) & Happy Valley Tea Estate and Factory. Day 03: KALIMPONG SIGHTSEEN, BACK TO DARJEELING

Breakfast at Hotel & check out. Drive to Kalimpong via Teesta,upon arrival,check into the Hotel.Lunch at Hotel, After lunch visit Durbin Monastery,Deolo Hill,Dr.Graham's Homes. Free & Leisure time or walk around town and visit Mangaldham (Hindu Temple) Overnight stay at Hotel.

04: DARJEELING TO NJP/BAGDOGRA

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast transfer to NJP railway station or Bagdogra airport for your train / flight to onward destination.

Shillong– Cherrapunjee– Mawlynnong Tour 03 Nights/04 Days

Itinerary

Day 01: GUWAHATI – SHILLONG

Morning after on arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, assistance and warm traditional welcome by our representative visit the famous Maa Kamakhya Temple on the Nilachal Hills (10kms) – a seat of the ta***ic cult in India and one of the 108 Shakti Pethas in the country. Later transfer to Shillong. Shillong, also known as ‘The Scotland of the East’ is the capital city of Meghalaya. En route you will visit the largest manmade lake of Northeast India – Umium Lake. Reaching Shillong after 3 hours journey (approximately), we check-in at a city Hotel. After freshen up visit Cathedral of Marry & the Polo Ground. Evening free for leisure or for shopping in the famous Police Bazaar in Shillong. Overnight in Shillong.

Day 02: SHILLONG- CHERRAPUNJEE-SHILLONG

Morning after breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee which is famed for being the wettest place in the world. After a drive of 1 ½ hours amid pine trees and mists we reach Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves. In Cherrapunji, we visit the Nohkalikai Falls, Seven sisier falls,Mawsmai Caves,Rama Krishna Mission, Eco Park and the Thangkharang Park .Later back to Shillong.

Day 03: SHILLONG-MAWLYNNONG-SHILLONG
Wake up early and have your breakfast and drive to Mawlynnong on the way we visit the Shillong Peak and Elephant Falls situated on the outskirts of the city. Today you can explore the cleanest village Mawlynnong in the world. You can take the sky walk. Spectacular view of the living Root Bridge.Drive back to Shillong. Overnight at Shillong.

Day 04: SHILLONG – GUWAHATI AIRPORT
After breakfast Check out from the hotel and transfer to Guwahati Airport enroute visit Balaji Temple(if time permits). Later transfer to Guwahati airport for the onward journey.

TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1:
Arrival at Port Blair Airport & move to the hotel with our envoy. After lunch start the breathtaking trip to Corbyns Cove Beach, one of the most picturesque, coconut palm fringed beach, 7 kms away from Port Blair town, and to the Cellular Jail, a place of pilgrimage for all freedom loving people. One can also view the history of the heroic freedom struggle which is brought alive in a moving Light & Sound Show at the Cellular Jail.

Day 2:
The day’s program begins with the sightseeing tour in and around the city like Fisheries Museum (Aquarium) - exhibits species of marine life peculiar to the islands, Anthropological Museum - displays tribal essential and artifact’s, Naval Marine Museum (Samudrika) - gives a good retrospect of the history, shells, Corals marine life, geography, archaeology of these islands and Asias largest and oldest saw mill.

Day 3:
The voyage begins with a mesmerizing scrutiny in a boat to see under- water marine life and rarest varieties of corals by glass bottom boat and snorkelling in the North Bay. After North Bay, proceed to Ross Island, the erstwhile capital of Port Blair during the British regime. The island presently houses the ruins of old buildings like Chief Commissioner’s House, Government House, Church, Bakery, Press, Swimming Pool, Cemetery, etc. and all in dilapidated condition. Harbour through a steamer in a Harbour Cruise which includes a trip to tiny, serene, beautiful island called “VIPER ISLAND” where the gallows is a sight to watch.

Day 4:
Early morning departure to Baratang Island (110Kms) which holds the natures best treasures gifted to the Islands. Limestone caves & Active Mud Volcano are a must see points for nature lovers & leisure travelers alike. The Road journey from Port Blair to Baratang involves crossing through creeks and dense equatorial forest. Return back to Port Blair.
