MAKER’S STORY | Mogra Studio

When working at scale, material choices matter even more.

For Mogra Studio, TatvaMix clay delivers the strength, workability, and smooth finish needed for large sculptural forms and tilemaking, while staying true to the studio’s commitment to sustainability.

Its recycled content supports responsible creation, turning ceramic waste into meaningful art without limiting expression.

Exploring TatvaStix added another layer, offering a versatile chalk based medium for ceramic surfaces and new possibilities in surface decoration.

Scale, sustainability, and expression, shaped by the right material.

60% less mining with TatvaMix.

Made from ceramic production rejects, TatvaMix brings landfilled glazed ceramic waste back into the material cycle and reduces dependence on virgin mined raw materials.

It is designed to support high quality ceramics in both durability and aesthetics, while using lesser energy and creating more value from what already exists.

MAKER’S STORY | Restart

When learning is hands-on, ideas stay longer.

At a global ceramic workshop bringing together 35 students from 12 countries, Restart used Earth Tatva’s recycled clay to explore climate citizenship through making. TatvaMix proved easy for beginners, fired well, and allowed every participant to personalise their artefact with meaning.

Knowing the clay was made from recycled ceramic waste added depth to the stories each student shaped — turning material into a powerful teaching tool.

TatvaMix made the process smooth, conscious, and creative — perfectly aligned with the spirit of circularity the workshop set out to inspire.

What began as a student graduation project has grown through years of research, experimentation, making, and learning.

Every milestone in Earth Tatva’s journey has taken us closer to one belief: ceramic production rejects are not waste. They are valuable material waiting to return to the making process.

From developing new materials and products to entering studios, classrooms, institutions, and conversations across the country, the journey has been shaped by every maker, mentor, collaborator, and supporter who believed in the idea.

This is the journey of Earth Tatva so far.

Many milestones behind us. Many more possibilities ahead.

This week, we had the opportunity to join the 52nd Annual Congress of the International Academy of Ceramics as a panelist.

The congress brought together artists, academicians, institutions, museums, and galleries from the international ceramic fraternity, representing 192 countries.

A particularly memorable moment was demonstrating the plastic free packaging of a TatvaMix mug. The loud applause that followed reinforced an important belief behind Earth Tatva: sustainability must extend beyond the material and become part of the entire product journey.

It was valuable to share our work, exchange perspectives, and learn from people shaping the future of ceramics across the world.

MAKER’S STORY | Hatsu

Consistency matters when you’re building products at scale.

After a year of working with Earth Tatva Slip, Hatsu found a material that delivers where it counts — consistent quality, minimal rejections and damages, and a smooth, strong finish that stands out from other slips in the industry.

For Hatsu, TatvaMix isn’t just a sustainable choice.

It’s a reliable one — every single time.

Good materials don’t ask for compromises.
