Kalam Polo Shirazi is a delicious and popular traditional food in Shiraz. It consists of cabbage, minced meat, chickpea flour, and different herbs such as tarragon, dill, basil, and leek. First, we fry a mixture of onion and chopped cabbage to become soft and golden. Then we add chopped vegetables and fried meatballs to the cabbages. Finally, we mix all the ingredients with rice and brew them together. This famous Shiraz food is served with either Shirazi salad or yogurt and greens.

Each year World Heritage Day is commemorated on April 18 to spread awareness about preserving the history, diversity, and vulnerability of world heritage sites and monuments. This special day marks an understanding of our rich culture and traditions that are worth conserving. The day is celebrated to convey an important message to the younger generations to carry forward our legacy and safeguard our culture. It also intends to recognize the efforts of all people like architects, engineers, geographers, civil engineers, artists and archaeologists, who contribute towards conserving the heritage.

The fragmentary Jurjir façade is located on a side wall of the Hakim mosque, a seventeenth-century structure which incorporated the tenth century fragment into its walls. The Buyid fragment was discovered during restoration work in 1955.
The façade fragment consists of a deep entrance portal framed by side walls that project the façade away from the portal datum. The wall surfaces of the façade and the side walls are articulated with a series of receding and projecting vertical elements.

Beryan is one of the well-known native food in Isfahan. It is prepared and served in specific places because this food is valuable for local people in Isfahan. Beryan is considered as the most famous traditional food in Isfahan. It is the only specialty in Isfahan, which is cooked and sold in special unique restaurants, and is not usually served along with other foods. According to literary and historical texts, Baryan is a special food whose history goes back to about 400 year ago.

This lake is known as the sister in law of Caspian Sea and it is in 350 kilometers of Tehran and near the magic jungles of Chortdar Village, Chahar Dange County, in Sari.

Dolmeh Barge Mo” is the most commonly-cooked type of Dolma in Iran. In some translations, the name of this dish has been translated to “stuffed grape leaves”, so technically, a lot can be understood about this dish just by reading its name.In the Iranian culture, almost in the middle of the spring, when the grape leaves are ripe and ready to be eaten, this flavorful dish can be found on almost all the Iranian dining tables.

Glassware and Ceramic Museum of Iran or “Abgineh” Museum, as Iranians call it, is one of the unique collections of glassblowing arts in Iran. NOWRUZ | PERSIAN NEW YEAR
Today spring will arrive and Persians everywhere will be celebrating Nowruz, first day of spring, and of its beauty and pleasant weather. This is the season to be in harmony with nature and put away the old and look forward to a new beginning. This is also the time to allow the warmth of the sun to help rejuvenate our creativity and shed the layers of dormancy. Starting from the time of the first Zoroastrians, this is the season that ancient Persians celebrated this changing of the season with well wishes for each other and for all that nature had provided for them. Every Iranian believes that their mom makes the best Ghormeh Sabzi in the world! Italy is famous for Pizza, Mexico for Tacos, and Korea for Kimchi but Ghormeh Sabzi, the national dish of Iran is second to none. The combination of the sour taste of dried lime, exotic aroma of Persian vegetables, and tender lamb meat on top of soft Persian rice is magical and lets you taste the essence of Persian culture in a single bite. This iconic meat and vegetable stew or as Iranians call it “Khoresht Sabzi” is the ultimate test of cooking skills and gets cooked in different colors, tastes, and styles.

Literally, Chahar bagh, or Charbagh means four-gardens and refers to two perpendicular paths that create four square gardens. Chaharbagh’s structure and design are notable examples of Persian gardens, encompassing green areas, pavilions and irrigation systems.
Chahar bagh street is a Safavid street constructed between 1597 and 1616, during the reign of Shah Abbas the great. Chahar bagh was the most famous boulevard in not only Isfahan, the capital city of the time, but also in all of Persia. Although this legendary promenade has undergone a lot of changes, it still holds stories of those people who spent their days and nights in that refreshing boulevard.

The Persian Walnut Stew, Fesenjan, or Fesenjoon is the pride of Iranian cuisine. Sweet, sour, tangy, and rich, none of them can describe the real taste of this Persian delicacy.
