Truly Italy

Truly Italy Ciao! Working on many things... I’d like to take you on a ride. Where history, culture and real Italian life meet. Andiamo! :) Let's GOOOO!!!

There’s so much more to Italy that what you see in TV and movies. There are many churches and museums but what I want to share with you are STORIES.

Who is a week living in a Tuscan village really for? Discover whether the slow, local, lived-in Italy experience is your kind of trip — and who might be happier elsewhere. Read the full post to decide if our June 19–26, 2027 village week is right for you: https://wix.to/KUhuNhi

When I talk about a week of “living in a Tuscan village” instead of touring Italy, people usually have one of two reactions:Either: “That sounds like heaven.”Or: “I’d get bored… what would I do all day?”Both reactions are useful, because this week is very much not for everyone.I want...

Planning Italy and tired just thinking about it?

I’m designing a 7-day, one base ‘Slow Week in Tuscany’ digital guide to help you plan a calmer trip.

Thinking about creating something new and I’d love your honest take.

I’m planning a digital “Slow Week in Tuscany” guide for people who want:

one home base in Tuscany (no constant packing/unpacking)
slower days, not a rushed checklist
a mix of village life, good food, and beautiful places
It would be a 7‑day, village‑based itinerary + planning guide you can use to plan your own trip.

My question for you:

If you were planning (or dreaming about) a trip to Tuscany in the next few years,
is this the kind of thing you’d consider paying for?

If your answer is even a soft “yes”, comment YES or “I’d be interested” below
(or DM me), and tell me roughly when you’re dreaming of coming.

Your answers will help me decide if I should make this real now, later, or not at all.

Grazie,
Katie

Most people picture Italy in summer.

Sun on the hills, long dinners outside, gelato in the piazza.

But if you’ve spent time here, you know Italy isn’t just one mood.
Every season has its own feeling.

Over the next few years I’m creating four different weeks in the same Tuscan village in Tuscany – one for each season:

🌱 Spring – The Season of Renewal
☀️ Summer – The Season of Lingering
🍇 Fall – The Season of Harvest
🕯 Winter – The Season of Reflection

Same village. Same rhythm of life. Four completely different experiences.

I just wrote a new blog about what each season feels like here, and how I’m dreaming these weeks into life.

If you’re curious which season of Italy might be “yours”, you can read it below.

And if you finish it thinking “I want to be there one of those weeks,” there’s a quiet way at the end of the article to raise your hand for my first small‑group week in June 2027.

Ever wondered what a truly slow day in Tuscany actually feels like?

Most trips to Italy are built around lists:
cities to tick off, trains to catch, sights to “must see”.

But the moments my guests remember most are never the rushed ones.

They’re the quiet ones: – the same walk to coffee every morning
– the barista who starts your cappuccino without asking
– long, unhurried dinners in one little village

I just wrote a new blog that walks you through
what one slow Tuesday in a Tuscan village could feel like – hour by hour.

If you’re craving less rushing and more living on your next trip, you can read it in link in comments “Tuesday in Tuscany” blog post.

And if you finish it thinking “this is what I want in 2027”, there’s a link there to join my tiny interest list for my June 19–26, 2027 village week.

a presto,
Caterina

Two summers from now I’ll be in a tiny Tuscan village for a week… and I’m bringing 8 people with me.

Same cobblestone street every morning.
Same barista who starts your cappuccino without asking.
Slow days, long dinners, no rushing.

I’ve paused all my ‘typical’ trips to create this one slow week in June 2027 where you actually live in a village instead of just passing through.

If you’re even a little bit curious about this, I’ve made a small interest list where I’m sharing the behind-the-scenes as I build it and, later, first chance at a spot.

Comment “TUSCANY” or send me a message and I’ll send you the link.

Imagine this being your Tuesday morning.

You wake up to church bells in a tiny Tuscan village.
You walk the same cobblestone street you’ve walked all week.
At the bar, the barista recognizes you and starts your cappuccino without asking.

No rushing.
No schedule to chase.
Just time to breathe, taste, and actually be there.

In June 2027, I’m bringing a very small group (8 people) for a week of slow village life in Tuscany.

Not a tour.
Not a retreat.
A week of living in a Tuscan village… just long enough to feel like you belong.

You’ll stay in village apartments, talk with locals, share long dinners, and give your nervous system a break from ‘go go go’.

If you’re thinking, ‘I want this to be me in 2027’:

Comment “TUSCANY” and I’ll DM you the link to my June 19–26, 2027 interest list.

People on that list will be the first to:
• see all the details
• get early access to book
• have the best chance at one of only 8 spots.

a presto,
Kate

I didn’t expect to feel this way.

What started as a trip…

turned into something that made me pause and ask:

“what have I been missing?”

And I think I found my answer.
