“A Family Affair,” the captains’ event hosted by and , was much more than a gathering — it was a celebration of shared values: partnership, craftsmanship, and the belief that the strength of family ties and close collaborations leads to extraordinary results.

Set in beautiful Genoa — a city brought to greatness in the 16th and 17th centuries by its powerful families — we explored the splendour of its ancient noble palaces, dined in a Prince’s residence, and celebrated by literally making together the legendary handmade croxetti with pesto at the historic, family-run Zeffirino restaurant, established in 1939.

Amico & Co is present until the 30th of May at the Genova for Yachting Career Day in the Genoa Blue District. 🚤🌊

We are looking for new talent for our refit shipyard for other companies in the Amico group, for the following positions:

- Purchasing Office – Technical role

- Shipyard Maintenance Manager

- Project Manager

- Project Assistant

- Vessel project leader

- Shipyard project leader

- Specialised Labourer (electricians, mechanics, carpenters, applicators, etc.)

- Technical staff

After the great success of the first edition in 2023, Genova for Yachting and the Genoa Blue District, within the framework of the Blue Skills project, are organising two career and recruitment days dedicated to young people and students interested in nautical and superyacht professions.

Programme:

29th May 2024 - Graduates and high-school graduates 🕙 10:00-12:30 Presentation of companies and focus on training and employment opportunities for university students. 🕜 13:30-17:00 Individual interviews.

Our 12 meticulously designed covered refit and repair areas include 2 separate dry docks, a covered graving dock equipped with heating, ventilation and emission treatment systems for painting works, sheds with forced heating and ventilation systems, overspray recovery, emission treatment systems and all necessary utilities, including TV antennae and black water.

They are built to accommodate large yachts up to 102m in length. For sailing vessels with keels, we offer a specialized keel pit!
