For this major water treatment project, we will be supplying 4 NCBKX200-400AB-AQ pumps, made entirely of stainless steel and fitted with high-efficiency IE4 motors.

The quality of a supply is also measured by the impact it has in the field.

This shipment includes a NCBX 125-400 4P standard bare-shaft centrifugal pump, made of AISI316 stainless steel, designed to operate in particularly harsh marine environments, where corrosion resistance and operational continuity are essential requirements.

The pump delivers pressurised water to the seabed, facilitating the removal of sludge and sediments that promote algae proliferation. This process helps preserve the ecosystem’s balance and protect shellfish farms by improving seabed conditions.

In addition, the flow generated by the pump also provides the thrust needed to manoeuvre the barge during operations, ensuring efficiency and operational continuity.

PROJECT OF THE WEEK: BOOSTING TAILINGS LINE PRESSURE FOR RELIABLE OPERATION

In tailing management systems, maintaining stable pressure is critical to ensure effective operation and continuous material handling. The customer operates a tailings pond, where tailings must be diluted with process water before being pumped by submersible pumps.
Previously, the water supply to these cannons was operated by gravity, but the available pressure was not sufficient to achieve the required dilution and ensure efficient operation.

Solution implemented:
To stabilise and increase line pressure, a vertical split case pump SKDV was supplied and integrated into the system.

Equipment Installed:
1 x SKDVZ-4P-150-400 pump
Q = 387,00 m³/h , H = 36,00 m

Motor Specifications:
SAER motor - 55kW
4 poles - IE3 efficiency class
380 V - 50 Hz

When pressure in the pipeline drops below the required level, the pump starts automatically to restore and maintain the pressure needed for proper operation.

This solution ensures stable pressure, improved reliability and continuous operation in tailings handling systems.
