Faculty of Traffic and Communications, University of Sarajevo organized OPEN DAY within implementation of CARICA project - Capitalization of Adriatic Ionian Reliable Intermodal Connections to support the EUSAIR Action Plan (IPA Adriatic CBC Programme). To mark the completion of the CARICA project, Faculty of Traffic and Communications team organized an "Open Day" on 24th November 2016 in order to inform master students and doctoral students with the objectives of the project, the method of implementation of the planned activities, as well as with achieved results. Members of the project team CARICA addressed to the participants of the meeting, and special review of the project was given by Dean and Project Manager - professor Dr. Samir Čaušević, who spoke about the activities of the Faculty in the project and the tasks within the work packages, as well as about realized outputs.

Final Meeting and Final Conference were held on Wednesday, 23 November 2016 in the Event Hall of the Port of Corfu. During the Final Conference the project results and outputs have been presented and publicly discussed. Thanks to Lead Partner RAM - Rete Autostrade Mediterranee and to all partners Ancona Port Authority (Ancona - Italy), Marche Freight Village (Jesi - Italy), Ploce Port Authority (Ploce - Croatia), Port of Bar (Bar - Montenegro), Veneto Region (Venezia - Italy), Institute of Transport and Logistics (Bologna - Italy), Faculty of Traffic and Communications, University of Sarajevo (Sarajevo - Bosnia-Herzegovina), Corfu Port Authority (Corfu - Greece) for this fruitful cooperation with CARICA project.

Final cross border conference on 16th November 2016 in Trieste (Italy) for CAPTAIN Project. Representatives of partners of CARICA Project will be present at the event to speak about some themes on infrastructures and transport networks in the Adriatic Ionian region.
In the afternoon, Mr. Roberto Mencarelli (RAM – Rete Autostrade Mediterranee) will be the moderator of a Technical workshop “IPA Projects in the framework of the second Pillar of the EUSAIR Strategy: CAPTAIN, CARICA and 4PILLARS” (http://captain-project.eu/news/news_detail/58).

Joint public event for CARICA and CAPTAIN projects on 26 October 2016 in Bar, Montenegro, organised by project partner Port of Bar. Mr. Roberto Mencarelli (RAM, Lead Partner of CARICA project), Mr. Massimiliano Angelotti (FVG Region, Lead Partner of CAPTAIN project), Mr. Rade Stanišić (Port of Bar), Mr. Boštjan Petelin (Actual IT), Mr. Svemir Zekulić (Port of Ploče) participated in the round table on capitalization of Adriatic-ionian Reliable Intermodal Connections and Transport Models in Adriatic-Ionian Network to support the EUSAIR Action plan and development.

Public event on "Adriatic-Ionian Pillar 2 in transports: turning strategies into actions" on 25 July 2016 in Venice (Italy), introduced by Mr. Luigi ZANIN, Director of the Logistics Section of Veneto Region and Mr. Antonio CANCIAN, Focal point for Italian Ministry of Transports for EUSAIR Pillar II. Followed by a working session with representatives of Veneto Region, Friuli Venezia Region, Emilia Romagna Region and Marche Region.
