The large apartment used as a holiday home and location for events is located on the first floor of the building and has an area of 200 square meters.

The furniture and the large rooms keep the characteristics of the splendid noble residences unchanged. Si tratta di uno splendido appartamento costruito alla fine dell'ottocento adibito a struttura ricettiva. E' sito in un affascinante palazzo nel centro storico di Lecce, caratterizzato da straordinari mosaici che coprono quasi completamente il pavimento dell'abitazione. Il palazzo è poi arricchito da un lussureggiante aranceto fruibile per gli ospiti.

È vero che con l'età si acquisisce maggiore consapevolezza ed oggettività, ma mi fa strano rendermi conto, dopo "solo 38 anni di vita", di quanto siano straordinari i nostri mosaici.
In questi giorni passo molte ore sul mosaico più rappresentativo del palazzo, quello del salone e solo ora ho posto davvero l'attenzione sul livello tecnico di quest'opera musiva dei fratelli Peluso.
È pura ARTE e di pregevolissima fattura.
Ho posizionato un tappo di una biro per darvi l'idea delle proporzioni, per farvi capire che si parla di microscopici tasselli di pochi millimetri.
Cosa ne pensate di questo piccolo capolavoro?
It is true that with age one acquires greater awareness and objectivity, but it makes me strange to realize, after "only 38 years of life", how extraordinary our mosaics are.
These days I spend many hours on the most representative mosaic of the building, that of the hall and only now have I really focused on the technical level of this mosaic work by the Peluso brothers.
It is pure ART and of exquisite workmanship.
I placed a pen cap to give you an idea of the proportions, to make you understand that we are talking about microscopic pieces of a few millimeters.

Quando i clienti lasciano recensioni di questo tipo, ci rendiamo conto di quello che il mio bisnonno fece costruire, UN'OPERA D'ARTE!
Spesso succede che vedendo ogni giorno la stessa cosa, per quanto la stessa sia speciale, la si dia per scontata.
Questo palazzo però è tutto fuorché scontato, gli ARTISTI che ci hanno lavorato non esistono più e non esistono, purtroppo, artisti che ne abbiano veramente carpito i segreti, prendendone il testimone.
A noi eredi spetta il compito, non facile, di mantenere quanto è stato fatto.

In questo periodo di paure, sacrifici e limitazioni mi manca incredibilmente il fatto di non poter viaggiare, di non poter girovagare in cerca delle meraviglie naturali e non che arricchiscono il nostro mondo. Meraviglie come il nostro duomo con il suo fantastico campanile. Ritorneremo alla normalità, speriamo quanto prima 😍😥😓

In this period of fears, sacrifices and limitations, I incredibly miss the fact of not being able to travel, of not being able to wander in search of the natural and non-natural wonders that enrich our world. Wonders like our cathedral with its fantastic bell tower. We will return to normal, hopefully as soon as possible 😍😥😓

Pochi spettacoli sono più belli dell'alba sulla costa Adriatica. Vedere il sole sorgere da dietro le montagne dell'Albania, delineandone perfettamente i contorni, è meraviglioso. Sono pochi minuti, in cui il più delle volte, si è soli sulla spiaggia e si può provare un senso di pace e tranquillità rigenerante ❤️🌅😍

Few shows are more beautiful than sunrise on the Adriatic coast. Seeing the sun rise from behind the mountains of Albania, perfectly delineating their contours, is wonderful. It is a few minutes, in which most of the time, you are alone on the beach and you can feel a sense of regenerating peace and tranquility ❤️🌅😍

La calda atmosfera della stanza da pranzo patronale. Ogni volta che entro in quella stanza ricordo i pranzi nei giorni di festa con tutta la famiglia riunita. Una vita fa', quando ero un bimbo ed i nonni e le zie ci coccolavano. ❤️😍

The warm atmosphere of the patronal dining room. Every time I enter that room I remember lunches on holidays with the whole family gathered together. A lifetime ago, when I was a child and grandparents and aunts cuddled us. ❤️😍
