Providing a service covering Mechanical repair, electrical repairs, generator repair and maintenance, pumps, hydraulic, fabrication of parts. I can diagnose running issues with engines, being able to tell the difference between an electrical problem and a mechanical problem. I will also help to design systems and install upgrades. From simple electric circuits to computer networks. Happy to assist in all departments when asked.

Clean off, sand back and keel joint prep, prime and re-sikaflex, 2 coats of International micron350, Propspeed treatment, new anodes, and a polish.
2.5 days on the hard.
Ready for a relaxing summer.

Wendake Project.
Sandblasted, then painting of steel with Jotun primers and international micron 350 antifouling.
Painting with Airless Spray for a perfect finish.
Rudder reperations with structural fiberglass and epoxy resin.
Propeller removed repaired and balanced.
Propspeed antifouling on propeller and bow thruster.
Paint reparations and application of nano ceramic protection.

This gushing water is VERY good news. After many hours spent trying to resurrect it and much head-scratching, our generator is alive and well again! Many thanks to Matthew at Yacht Service Licata 😀😀

Turanga is a Grand Banks, Alaskan 49.
The owner has had her for over a year, as a refit project. And he is going all the way with it!
So far, he has been working on the hull and port holes, replacing planks and arranging new port holes.
I have had the fortune to meet the owner through a friend of mine, and am now involved in the project.
I have taken my friend and sometimes assistant, Franco, with me on this project.
He is helping the owner with all the labor work restoring the exterior, and later the interior.
I am managing all the repairs and ordering on the technical side.
Engines to be thoroughly checked over, and maintained for operation.
Electrics to repair and upgrade.
Pumps and plumping to replace and modify/restore to original.
Hydraulic and electrical repair of the crane....the list goes on.
There are a few months of work to come, but the result will be worth it.

I have returned to Licata, and back into the action. Suprise, a friend turned up in Licata, i then helped him and and his crew aboard M/Y Griffin. Electric reperations and provisioning for charter and crew outings. Buon viaggio!

Such a long between posts, I have been working in Different cities, but now i'm sailing with a motor yacht for a few months. Time is arriving to share the stories, past, present and what is to come... :) keep an eye on this page

Must be winter. Time to fix heaters at the coldest time of the year. Out with the carbon build up, rectify badly installed exhaust, replacement of failed electrics. Diagnosis spot on, and back together better than before. Its doing the right job for the passion that matters. Happy to see friends warm and cozy again.

A visit to MY March Hare to diagnose electrical issues. Not the best of solutions, but the original charge/inverter installation isn't exactly designed for its use. Works much better than before. Most important.
