Just back from Livigno, Italy, and I’m still in awe! Nestled in the Italian Alps near the Swiss border, this hidden gem is about to steal the spotlight - and for good reason!

With 115 km of snow-covered slopes and a ski season that stretches into May, Livigno is a dream for skiers and snowboarders alike. The village is full of charm with cozy chalets and boutique hotels, all with its distinct Swiss-style architecture. And the food? Italian classics with an alpine twist that’ll make you want to linger at every meal.

Après-ski culture is on another level here. Whether you’re sipping bubbly at the champagne bar on the slopes or winding down in town, the vibes are unmatched. Bonus: it’s tax-free, and I was surprised to find that ski passes, rentals, and even dining are far more affordable than in North America!

Kicking off in stunning Taormina! Views of Mount Etna, the Ionian Sea, and the ancient Greek theatre made for an unforgettable start. 🌋🌊

🚗 Day 4-6: Syracuse
Syracuse wowed us with ancient Greek ruins, Baroque architecture, and the enchanting island of Ortigia. 🏛️⛲

🚗 Day 7-9: Noto
Noto’s golden Baroque streets and the majestic Cathedral of San Nicolò took our breath away. 🌟⛪

🚗 Day Trip to Modica
Chocolate heaven! We indulged in Modica’s famous sweets and explored its layered history. 🍫🏘️
