To ensure crew and cargo safety, major carriers (Maersk, CMA CGM, MSC) continue to reroute vessels via the Cape of Good Hope. This results in an estimated 10-15 day increase in transit times and the application of new Emergency Conflict Surcharges for Gulf and Red Sea ports.
Status of the Strait: Leading industry analysts (including Lloyd’s List) confirm that traffic through the Strait of Hormuz is effectively suspended.
Port Operations:Jebel Ali Port returns operational. Following a brief precautionary suspension due to falling debris from aerial interceptions, terminal operations have resumed as normal, albeit under strict security protocols.
