The perfect 1.5h escape from Bratislava ⛰️

📍 Hohe Wand Skywalk, Austria

1️⃣ Drive towards Hohe Wand Skywalk (do not reach final point)
2️⃣ Park at the lower roadside parking (€0.70/hour)
3️⃣ Take the green Völlerinsteig trail (around 1 hour uphill)
4️⃣ Enjoy the views or enter the Skywalk platform— entrance is €5.50 and includes a small petting zoo plus a few extra attractions 🦙
5️⃣ Hike back down using the same trail or choose another route

‼️This route doesn’t require special equipment, but I’d still recommend bringing gloves and a helmet.
P.S.
If you’re not into hiking, you can drive almost directly to the Skywalk entrance. We paid for 5 hours of parking and it was more than enough.

There are also plenty of other trails and climbing / via ferrata options around the area 🧗
