I love Italy in the Fall-Less crowds, amazing Fall produce in comfort dishes, and best of all you can do a 5 star holiday for a lot less $$$$. If you book through the holidays, hotel and airline rates drop significantly. While museums and restaurants are booked solid through the summer high-season you have a lot more availability through the holiday season. You may have a few rainy days but I think that beats the heat.

Travel hack: I love to shop while I'm in Italy but am always concerned about getting it back home. I started traveling with a portable clothes vacuum and it has made all the difference! This bag held two bulky new sweaters and a few pair of old pants👍

Want to get off the beaten path but still be in the city center and easily take a train??? Ravenna is an incredibly beautiful city that is rarely on the radar of most tourists. It has 8 UNESCO world heritage sites all concentrated in its tiny historical center. With kind people and great food Ravenna should be a fun stop in between Florence and Venice.
