Outside of depressing disrespectfully, which only entails not appropriately for religious sites or respecting dress codes, wear what you want and what is comfortable.

Please don’t listen to this bad advice from people on the internet who have no clue what they’re talking about. I saw the same general travel account say the same thing about May - as though it’s not one of the busiest months of the year!
