Day 28 Monday 18 May 2026
Short run to Santa Teresa today but wow how scenic. Started off with a visit to the Elephant Rock, a natural erosion apparently, then coastal view after coastal view. Arrived in time to have a nice walk through town.

Day 27 Sunday 17 May 2026
Sunday ! Great day to have a rest especially after the last two days of riding. Strolled to the supermarket to get some things and took it easy today.

Bosa to Castelsarso
After a very tough day yesterday and severe wind warnings today we decided to head straight for the Hotel and glad that we did. Great to get to a good hotel with nice sea views and thanks to the wind some surf!

Day 25 Friday 15 May 2026
Tortoli to Bosa
After breakfast rode to the well known Red Rock with our Polish friends then departed for Bosa. Got into the mountain twisties and then it happened. Rain and lots of it. So heavy we pulled over and donned the waterproofs then the difficult riding in the rain through the mountain roads
Can see the fun over 5 hours to cover 200Km! Mussels and and Ravioli for Dinner.

Day 24 Thursday 14 May 2026
Nuoro to Tortoli
Relatively short run with a very cold wind and rain threatening to meet up with a lovely Polish couple we had met him in the Sicily to Sardinia ferry and she had flown in to Sardinia. Great dinner out with them as a result.

Guspini to Nuoro
Another great day riding the twisties through the mountains we are quite sold on Sardinia at the moment.

My sister's 70th Birthday!
Cagliari to Guspini great ride through the mountains to the west coast of Sardinia then up the coast. Again stuck to the small roads and really worthwhile with stunning scenery, pictures do not do it justice. Great local Pizza and B&B.

Day 20 Sunday 10 May 2026
The Ferry. Why do they want everyone there 2 hours before departure so that we can sit and wait 90 minutes before loading?? Up sparrows to arrive terminal 06:45 for 09:00 departure, 12 hours smooth sailing the chaos at the other end for unloading I do so love Italy. Off the boat 15 minutes to our nice B&B.

Day 19 Saturday 09 May 2026 Palermo
What a very dusty crowded city. Day off the bike today, we stayed in a Hotel that had its own on-site private parking at Euros 15/day which for Palermo was a great deal
Went walkabout to see the usual Tourist sites, Town Hall, Cathedral, Walking Street, Fish market etc. Nice day but tired. Early start tomorrow for Ferry to Sardinia.
