I’m Sam — the person behind The Amalfi Edit. Originally from Scotland, I’ve been living in Nerano on the Amalfi Coast for over 10 years. What started as a move quickly became a deep connection to this part of Italy — its people, its pace of life, and the experiences that most visitors never quite find on their own.

Over the years, I’ve built a trusted network of local chefs, boat captains, drivers, guides, and family-run businesses. These aren’t places you’ll find easily online — they’re people and experiences I know personally and recommend because I’ve experienced them myself. The Amalfi Coast is one of the most beautiful places in the world, but it’s also overwhelming to plan properly.
