Murano was one of our favorite days in Venice. ❤️The water bus ride was gorgeous and we found a little glass shop where we all got to create our own murano glass jewelry pieces to take home. Highly recommend! Update: for everyone asking - the shop was Ferro Toso and you can prebook online - they were lovely and it was $45 I think each and that includes the jewelry piece you get to take home. They even let us come back and see how they made it - really really lovely family that runs it. .

The water taxi ride from the Marco Polo airport to our airbnb rental was fabulous. If you can spring for it - Do it!

Arriving in style. 🚤 If you can swing it, get the private water taxi from the airport to your hotel or rental in Venice. It’s a bit spendy, but the more people in your party, the more it starts to make sense. For us, after two days of travel and an overnight flight, it was a gift to be able to get dropped off right at our doorstep and enjoy a bit of luxury to welcome us to this gorgeous city.

Hello beautiful Venice! Finally getting this trip up so you can travel with our little family through Venice. It’s long been one of my favorite cities and I was incredibly excited to take Lila and Harrison for their first time, and share it with them. Venice in July with kids isn’t all fun and games though, so stick with us and I’ll share the best and worst ideas we had for our 5 days in this beautiful city 🎭🚤🇮🇹.
