Let's add inclusivity, equality and bonding to the concepts that characterised the Oscar's Night and let's give visibility to the event that represented these concepts on that night!

For us the night was protagonized by Troy Kotsur, who became nothing less than the second deaf actor to win an Oscar since Marlee Matlin in 1987, thus capturing on film the nexus between all individuals.

And it is like this that the filmmaker Sian Heder includes her name in the bridge connecting the deaf and hearing communities.

Let's enjoy all the elements the Earth gave us! Through an activity of sailing in a boat, the protagonist has been the wind 🌬️
Il Golfo di Gaeta, a magical place for all the lovers of wind and its sports. Where we have had the opportunity of learning the orders given in a boat and having a lovely trip on it.

(The first picture has a boat with all the participants sitting on it. In the second picture, the coordinator directing the hands of two tourists for the exploration of the boat. Im the third one, a blind tourist is learning how to use the robes in the boat. And in the last picture, the companion is helping a blind tourist to take the robe out of the boat)

Another one accessible experience in Venice by , but this time is all about the MASKS 🎭 IN LIS 🎭
In an authentic workshop, four deaf youngsters learned the story and tradition behind the famous masks and most importantly, they made their own, starting all the way from the beginning!
All this with the help of two interpreters, who perfectly described everything in LIS (italian sign language).
Check out the final results! Aren't they truly a work of art? 😍

Rowing in the canals of Venice, in LIS! (Italian sign language)
Thanks to ViaggiDiffusi and the experience they have created, four deaf youngsters enjoyed a unique rowing lesson, in the Italian Sign Language.
At the first part of the experience, the instructor explained everything about boats: their history, how they are made and how they work.
After that, the fun part started! Each of the participants tried to row the boat by themselves, and we got to say, they did very well 😉
