We’re Hiring: Senior Air Freight Officer – Jordan & Iraq

About the Role
Grand Arabia is looking for a Senior Air Freight Officer to lead, manage, and grow our Air Freight operations across Jordan and Iraq. This is a key role for someone with 4–5 years of solid Air Freight experience who is ready to take the next step: not just running operations but also developing the department, driving sales, and expanding our client portfolio.

What You’ll Do

Lead and develop the Air Freight Department in Jordan & Iraq.

Secure new business opportunities and strengthen client relationships.

Coordinate with agents, carriers, and service providers to ensure smooth operations.

Oversee shipment processes from booking to delivery with a focus on client satisfaction.

Contribute to strategic planning and help expand Air Freight services in the region.

What We’re Looking For

4–5 years of proven experience in Air Freight operations (import/export).

Strong background in Sales & Business Development within freight forwarding.

Fluent in English (written & spoken); Arabic is an advantage.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Proactive, motivated, and ready to lead departmental growth.

4 - and to have minimal knowledge in the field, mainly sea and / or land freight or, to be logistics graduate from a reputable institute.

- Fluent in English language; both spoken and written.
- Very good communication skills.
- Good command of computer programs including MS Windows & Office.
- Nationality : Iraqi or Jordanian, he / she will be located in Jordan but, will be also requested to travel to Iraq.
- Well organized and has a sales mentality, willing to arrange sales calls and visits.

The job requires the Officer to follow up leads and inquiries of potential and active clients, secure the business - land and sea export, and to coordinate with agents, service providers and clients, follow up all operations until our clients shipments are delivered and fully satisfied from our service.
