【Notice: Summer Closure for All RBRJ Shops】

This spring was an incredible, whirlwind journey for our team. Between opening our brand-new Onomichi shop in March, moving our Kyoto store to a new location, expanding our bikes, and welcoming fresh faces to the team, it felt like a continuous series of big challenges. But thanks to all of you, we managed to run at full speed as one united team. Honestly, we’re all taking a well-deserved deep breath now that the spring peak is wrapped up!

All of our locations (Osaka, Kyoto, and Onomichi) will be taking a summer break during the following period:

Closure Period: August 1 (Sat) – August 31 (Mon), 2026

We’ll be back and fully powered up in September, ready to ride with you again!

We were thrilled to support the 4th Banpaku Memorial Park Triathlon again this weekend with our rental bikes!

Although Saturday's bike segment was unfortunately canceled due to bad weather, Sunday turned into a beautifully sunny and perfect day for racing.

It was wonderful to reunite with past clients and support so many first-time triathletes taking on this amazing challenge.

Seeing the sheer determination, joy, and mixed emotions on everyone's faces at the finish line reminds us why we love what we do. We are so proud to be part of your big day!

昨日は「第4回万博記念公園トライアスロン大会」へ、今年もレンタルバイクのサポートとして出店してきました！

土曜日はあいにくの天候不良でバイク種目が中止となり残念でしたが、翌日は打って変わって暑いほどの快晴で絶好のレース日和となりました☀️

会場では、以前ご利用いただいたお客様との嬉しい再会や、初めてトライアスロンに果敢に挑戦される多くのチャレンジャーの皆様をサポートさせていただきました。

レースを終えて戻ってきた皆さんの表情は、達成感や悔しさなど様々な輝きに満ちており、そんな記念すべき一日に貢献できたことを私たちも心から誇りに思います。

Watching them support each other up the hot, challenging climbs with bright smiles was truly inspiring.
We were also amazed by her talent. She captures everyday Japanese scenery in her sketchbook on the spot, entirely without drafting!

ハネムーンで日本を訪れていた、アメリカからお越しの可愛らしいご夫婦を京都Northern Hillsへご案内しました。

きつい登り坂(人生)を制覇する一番の方法は、笑顔と励まし合いを分かち合いながら、隣にいる大切な人と支え合って進むことだということを教えてくれました。

小さい頃から絵を描くのが大好きという彼女。
持参していたスケッチブックには、日本でみた様々な景色を彼女なりに切り取って美しくファイリングされていました。（下書きなし、その場で即興で書くと言っていてビックリ！）

日本での旅も、これからの人生の旅も、スケッチしたくなるような美しい瞬間で溢れますように。

We caught a miraculous window of clear blue skies to welcome a wonderful couple from Switzerland on our Osaka Harbor Tour.

They’ve traveled to Tokyo and Kyoto, but this was their very first guided bike tour in Japan. They wanted to skip the tourist crowds, see where the locals hang out, and experience the real Osaka.

Keeping a close eye on the rain radar, we flexibly adjusted the route to show them the best of Osaka's hot spots, completely safe and dry.

Had an absolute blast guiding a wonderful father-daughter duo from Australia on our "Kyoto Scenic Rivers" tour! 🇦🇺🇯🇵

This 33km route is short and sweet with barely any hills, but it packs in pure Kyoto magic. We rolled from Higashiyama along the beautiful inclines and rivers all the way to the historic Fushimi Sake District.

The weather was perfect, the riverside paths were completely car-free, and we couldn't stop chatting and taking photos. We even took a quick detour to show them the iconic, narrow alleys of Pontocho.

You know, seeing couples on road bikes is getting common here, but a father-daughter ride? Still pretty rare in Japan, and honestly, it was so heartwarming to watch. Pure family goals right there!

Thank you so much for a top day! Hope to see you back in Japan for another ride soon!

この日は、「東山の美しい川沿いを走る(Kyoto Scenic Rivers)」にオーストラリアから父娘さんのお二人をご案内しました。

京都の東山エリアから蹴上インクライン、山科川、宇治川と水辺をたどって伏見の酒蔵エリアまで行ってもどる33kmの比較的短いルートで、坂はほんの少しだけです。

短いけれど、京都らしさがいっぱいつまった、安全でとても楽しいルートです。

天気が良く、車のこない水辺の道をまわりながら、３人でたくさんおしゃべりをして写真をいっぱい撮りました。

リクスエストにお応えして、ルートから外れて京都らしい先斗町の路地をご案内したりもしました。

最近は日本でもご夫婦や恋人同士でロードバイクのサイクリグを楽しまれる姿をよく見るようになりましたが、親子とくに父娘さんのライドはまだ珍しいですよね？

いいな、うらやましいなあ、とおふたりの姿を終日見守りながらのライドでした。

Yesterday was the Osaka Castle Triathlon 2026!

We were honored to support the event again this year as an official partner, preparing road bikes for our guests' unique stories from solo racers to relay teams. With each passing year, we are incredibly grateful to see our RBRJ community growing, as more and more riders trust us to power their challenge.

We love seeing first-time triathletes return to the shop. Turning pre-race nerves into proud, radiant smiles is the best part of what we do. Whether you finished or faced a tough day, just stepping up to the start line is a massive win.

We are a small team, but we poured our hearts into preparing for this day. Seeing everyone return safely without any injuries is our biggest pride.

We want to keep sharing the joy of cycling from Osaka, inspiring new challenges, and giving back to our local community.

昨日開催された大阪城トライアスロン大会2026。

今年もありがたいことに大会協賛パートナーとして、ソロで挑む方からリレーで繋ぐ方まで、それぞれのストーリーを持つゲストの相棒となるロードバイクを準備させていただきました。年を追うごとに、私たちのバイクと一緒にスタートラインに立ってくれるゲストの輪が広がっていることを、本当に嬉しく、誇りに思います。

特に毎年「人生初のトライアスロンレース」で緊張がこちらまで伝わってくるゲストが、フィニッシュ後に別人のような清々しい表情で帰ってきた姿は、本当にカッコ良い！

ゲストの「楽しかった」「悔しかった」といういろんな感情に、私たちスタッフも自分のことのように一喜一憂して、心がぐっと忙しい一日でもありました。

完走できた方も、悔しい結果になった方も、あのスタートラインに立って一歩を踏み出したこと自体がある意味一つのゴールだと思います。

そして小さなチームの私たちですが、この日のためにたくさんの想いを持って準備をして、ゲストが誰一人怪我なく、この熱い一日を駆け抜けられたことも、また誇らしい思い出です。

これからもここ大阪から、自転車の楽しさを広げていきたい。そして、誰かの『新しい挑戦』のきっかけになり、自転車を通じて地域に貢献できる、そんな場所であり続けたいと思います。

We had the absolute pleasure of guiding a guest from Canada on a private cycling tour through the stunning Northern Hills of Kyoto!

It was an exceptionally warm and sunny day, so to ensure a safe and comfortable ride, we flexibly adjusted our route to a shorter, more relaxed course. We cruised through the peaceful countryside, weaving through beautiful Satoyama (village) landscapes to take in the rich nature of Kyoto.

She did an amazing job riding through the heat and fully embracing the beauty of Kyoto from the saddle.

Thank you so much for joining us and sharing this wonderful day on two wheels!

カナダからお越しのお客様をお迎えして、京都の美しい北山（Northern Hills）を巡るプライベートサイクリングツアーに行ってきました！

5月半ばですがすでに気温が高く、蒸し暑い一日となったため、安全で快適なライドを最優先に考えて、ルートを少し短めのゆったりとしたコースへとアレンジ。のどかな田園風景や、美しい里山の景色の中を縫うように走りながら、京都の豊かな自然をたっぷりと肌で感じていただきました。

Today we had the pleasure of guiding a guest from the U.S. on a long ride through the beautiful Kitayama area.
From quiet forest roads to wide mountain views, every turn felt like a postcard moment. The crisp fall air, golden leaves, and great conversations made it a perfect day on the bike. Thank you for joining the tour!
