One of Kyoto’s oldest shrines and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto,” Kamigamo-jinja is home to two remarkable National Treasures:

During the special opening, visitors can join a guided tour led by a Shinto priest, explore the sacred sanctuary area, and see precious treasures belonging to the shrine.
