Our "Across Hokkaido 14 Days Bike Tour" has come to a close, and what a triumphant finish it was!
Riders who gathered from all corners of the globe for this two week adventure leave as a tightly bonded team, carrying memories that will last a lifetime, and promising to reunite on the next great journey.
The tour's second half took us deep into the wild heart of eastern Hokkaido. We rode through landscapes shaped by volcanoes, calderas, and abundant flowing water, passing from dairy country into grain fields before reaching the shores of the Okhotsk Sea. The beauty of the Shiretoko World Natural Heritage site left everyone spellbound, wildlife encounters delighted the group, and one breathtaking view after another kept spirits soaring.
And of course, every evening brought relaxation in the onsen and a feast of Japanese cuisine crafted from local ingredients, refreshing both body and mind for the days ahead.
Two weeks that felt long in the planning flew by in the living. On the final day, few could believe it was really over, and more than a few voices wished it could go on.

Our first “Across Hokkaido 14 Days Bike Tour” has started!!
While the news reports a heat wave sweeping across Honshu of Japan, our new long summer tour is underway, crossing the cool island of Hokkaido from west to east with a group of returning guests. The first two days blessed us with wonderful weather, as we rode along endless straight roads surrounded by beautiful patchwork hills and the last blooms of lavender. And every day ends with a relaxing soak in an onsen!

Our premium 2-day, 1-night fully supported Panaracer “GRAVELKING” Experience – Okunikko Gravel Adventure has come to a fantastic close! Riders rolled out on a wide range of unique bikes, all equipped with the latest GRAVELKING tires, and explored the hidden gravel roads deep in the Okunikko backcountry before unwinding in some of Japan’s finest hot springs.
The weather kept things interesting—from unexpected blue skies that beat the forecast to dense fog and light rain later on—giving everyone the perfect opportunity to experience the confidence and versatility of the new GRAVELKING tires in a variety of conditions.
Of course, the ride itself was only part of the adventure. Sharing the journey, stories, and plenty of laughs along the way with fellow riders is what these trips are all about.

May in Nasu Highlands is something truly special.
The paddies are freshly planted, their still water surfaces catching the light, while the forests around them fill out in every imaginable shade of green. For cyclists, it is one of the finest times of year to be on the road.
May is also one of our busiest months, and this year we had the pleasure of welcoming guests from countries around the world. Together we explored the countryside lanes, climbed into the mountains, and soaked in the hot springs that make Nasu unlike anywhere else.

Cycling through the Japanese countryside, one extraordinary meal at a time. 🍽️
Our most popular luxury offering, the Foodie’s Bike Tour Nasu - Nikko, is in full swing and drawing rave reviews once again. Scattered cherry blossoms still clung to the trees as we rode through countryside coming alive with rice paddy preparations, the very picture of a Japanese spring.
And the food. Where do we even begin. A full course lunch at a centuries-old farmhouse, bursting with just-harvested vegetables. Freshly made soba. River fish straight from the source. Tochigi’s celebrated strawberries. Crispy, golden katsu straight from the fryer. And each evening, a procession of beautifully composed kaiseki dishes at a luxury onsen ryokan.
The tour begins in the Nasu Highlands and builds to a grand finale in Nikko, home to stunning UNESCO World Heritage shrines and a lake of quiet, breathtaking beauty.

Riding beneath tunnels of full-bloom cherry trees, swept up in cascades of falling petals, the Tohoku Sakura Bike Tour 2026 has come to a beautiful close. 🌸
The feedback from our guests has been wonderful. The sakura surpassed every expectation. So did the cycling. But what moved people most was everything in between: the quiet rhythms of rural Tohoku, living culture, steaming onsen, and a remarkable variety of food experiences that no guidebook could prepare you for.
Eight days on the road together, and an incredible group of people to share it with. That made all the difference.

Pink! Pink! Pale pink! The cherry blossoms are in full bloom! 🌸
Our beloved annual Tohoku Sakura Bike Tour is back, and what a start it has been. For the first two days, wherever we rode, cherry blossoms stretched as far as the eye could see. Perfect timing, pure luck, and the energy on tour has been electric!
Guests have also been getting a deeper look at Japan’s iconic sakura trees, learning from our very own cherry blossom expert onboard. The more you know, the more fascinating these blooms become.
