Shiogama and Matsushima private guided tour.

Matsushima is the most popular day trip destination from Sendai, but Shiogama, the city next to Matsushima, also has a beautiful shrine and is known as one of the best seafood destinations in Japan.
I’m so happy that my guest said she likes it more than Kyoto!
But actually, many of my guests said that they enjoy this region even more than famous places like Kyoto, Osaka, and Tokyo. Why not come Tohoku region, northeastern Japan and experience a more relaxed side of Japan?

塩釜松島ツアー

日本2回目のお客様。
前回は京都など定番の有名な場所を周たけど
東北など周った今回の方がずっといいって。
特に塩釜神社は京都でまわった神社寺院のどれよりも良かったと喜んでくれました。

でも実は仙台、東北の方が有名な京都や大阪とかより良かった言ってくれるお客様多いんですよ！
でもその魅力の一つが混みすぎてなく外国人観光客よりも日本人が多いこと。

東北にもっと外国人観光客呼び込もうってのもあるけど
私は無理に呼ばなくても来たい人が来てくれる今のぐらいで丁度いいのだけど。

I joined a Sri Lankan cooking class held by a spice specialist スパイス計画
He regularly visits South Asia to learn about home cooking and shares what he learns through cooking classes in different parts of Japan. This time his class in Sendai was Sri Lankan.
I’m always looking forward to learning about regional food and hearing his travel stories!

スパイス研究家内藤さんのスリランカ料理教室に参加してきました。
南アジアの国に行き家庭料理を学びながら、日本のいろんな場所で料理教室をしていています。
スリランカ料理って野菜も多く使って、バランスがいい。
パキスタン、バングラデシュ、ネパールまではインド料理から結構馴染みのある味も多いけど、スリランカは近いけど島国だからかインドとは別の食文化に感じる。

内藤さんは今年はパキスタンに行って来て、毎回行った国の話を聞くのも楽しみです！
