Ready for some ; if you're planning to rent a vehicle abroad, consider getting an IDP (International Driving Permit) which is valid in over 150 countries. 🌎

AAA is one of only two private issuers authorized by the U.S. Department of State so walk into the office, fill out the form, provide your U.S. drivers license, pay the $20 permit fee, then they'll provide you with this nifty document translated into 10 different languages, and it only took about 15 minutes total. 😀

They also offer zero exchange fee currency exchange [to members] but before you get discouraged, keep reading on to the last part.

*Side note; you need 2 passport size photos but AAA can provide those as well and it's free for members right now. If you're not a AAA member, you're eligible for a free 1 year membership with your IDP application so you can enjoy the additional benefits mentioned above.*

But if doesn't do it for you (in addition to the other two), then we're not the for you.. 🫠

We've been asked before why we don't charge for our services and the answer is very simple; we get paid directly by the hotels, airlines, excursions, etc when you book through us so there's no reason to charge you as well. We would rather see you have that extra money on your trip to treat yourself to a fancy dinner or a spa day 😀
