Role of Parents in

1. ROAD SENSE

Road sense refers to the ability to assess the safety and conditions of the road while driving. It involves several factors that influence driving decisions and behaviors.

- Is the road in a safe driving condition? Before driving, it's important to evaluate the road conditions. Look for signs of hazards such as potholes, debris, or slippery surfaces. If the road is not safe, it is advisable to slow down or find an alternative route.

- How far is the road ahead of you clear? Keep an eye on the road ahead to anticipate any obstacles or potential hazards. Maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front of you, allowing enough time to react and brake if necessary.

- What is the likelihood of objects being on or running into the road? Be aware of the surroundings and watch out for any objects or animals that might enter the road unexpectedly. Stay alert and ready to react to any sudden changes.

- Is there enough space on the sides in case of an emergency or need to pull over? Ensure that there is enough space on the sides of the road in case you need to pull over in an emergency. This allows you to safely navigate the road and make necessary maneuvers if needed.

If the answer to any of the above questions is "No," it is essential to adjust your driving behavior accordingly. Slow down, maintain a safe distance from other vehicles, and stay focused on the road.
