🦒 Giraffe Fun Facts!

That neck!
A giraffe has 7 neck vertebrae, exactly the same number as humans. They’re just… considerably bigger! 😄

Talk about high blood pressure!
A giraffe’s heart can weigh around 11 kg and pumps blood all the way up that very long neck to reach the brain. 💓

Snack time is serious business.
Giraffes can spend many hours a day feeding, happily munching on leaves from trees that other animals simply can’t reach. 🌿

Eyes in the sky!
Being tall has its advantages. Their height gives giraffes a fantastic view of their surroundings, and helps them spot potential danger from a distance. 👀

🦁 Just enjoying a quiet afternoon…

The lions are doing what lions do best, finding a shady spot under a tree and settling in for a well-earned afternoon snooze.

There’s just one little problem…

Their peaceful nap appears to be seriously disturbing a nearby bird, who is making its annoyance VERY clear. 🐦

The lions, of course, seem completely unconcerned.
