Old friends, new look!

Amitruck has a new brand. In 2019 we were two people working out of a living room, doing everything from speaking to customers to driving the trucks ourselves.

Today we are a business of 70+ people, working with hundreds of household names across East Africa to fulfill thousands of deliveries a day. Not easy. But an incredible journey that has seen us enable partners’ growth across the region.

Meet Brian Agimba: Brian is the Sales Development Representative (SDR) making up part of the sales team at Amitruck. Brian joined Amitruck in January 2022 and has a background in sales and psychology. He appreciates the great work culture at Amitruck which he says has given him freedom of expression, allowing him to engage with people freely from different teams. Brian has future career goals of growing within Amitruck, learning new skills, and contributing more ideas to the company.

What is your Amitruck story?

"Amitruck has efficient services and really comes through for you when the need for transportation is in high demand." Says our client Andrew Nzomo from Premier foods.

"During the December holidays, we are usually very swamped with orders as it is peak season for the FMCG industry and Amitruck really came through for us with the trucks needed to deliver our goods in good time to our various clients. Premier foods has had the pleasure of using a number of trucks of different sizes to deliver goods and we have not had any issues with any vehicle. We have a great working relationship with Amitruck where we put out an order for daily deliveries to be done and we pay the total cost at the end of the month. I often refer people to Amitruck, particularly because of this service they offer as it takes away the hassle of sorting out transporter payment immediately.
