Job Title: Environmental Health & Safety Manager

With a strong focus on quality, safety, and environmental stewardship, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team and drive our commitment to operational excellence and compliance.
Job Summary
The EHS Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Roy Transmotors’ environmental, health, and safety programs in alignment with ISO standards and applicable local and international regulations. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to foster a culture of safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across all company operations
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and enforce EHS policies and procedures in compliance with ISO 9001:2015, and relevant local regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and job safety analyses; recommend corrective and preventive measures.
• Lead training and awareness programs on EHS best practices for employees at all levels.
• Oversee incident investigations and implement root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure all operations, including vehicle maintenance and transport activities, comply with environmental and safety legislation.
• Maintain accurate EHS documentation and reporting as per ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all necessary permits, audits, and inspections are up to date.
• Promote sustainability initiatives and reduce the company’s environmental footprint.
Required skills and competences:
• Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• Certified ISO 9001:2015
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in EHS management, preferably within the transport or logistics industry and 5 years in the management position.
• Strong knowledge of national and international EHS regulations, Developing policies, procedures, documentation related to HSSE.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in EHS software/tools, excel and ERP.
• Manage Vehicle Maintenance System, Security Risks, Product Quality, Manage road safety risks, and personal safety risks.
• Manage HSSE risks relating to suppliers and contractors, managing driver violations related to HSSE.
• Carry out HSSE Incident Investigations and Implement learnings.
• Product stewardship Environmental Impact Management and manage statutory and Legislation Requirements.
