History of Kampongpluk.
Kampong means boat station or ferry dock and Pluk means elephant tusk . According to old people’s narrative said that the elephants normally came to look for food in that area during the dried season and they returned to forest during the the rainy season but some of them died while they were looking for food in that area so their tusks remained in that place later people started to call or name that place “Kampongpluk “ which the port of elephant tusk.
